• Title: Design and implementation of a photopletismographic pulse wave velocity measurement device. "Diseño e implementación de un dispositivo para la medición de la velocidad de la onda de pulso por fotopletismografía"

• Advisor: Prof. PhD. Ruben Medina

• Description: Development of an arterial pulse wave velocity measurement device. This work involved the design of an acquisition data board to get the electrocardiographic and two arterial pulse waves. Also, included the development of a Python GUI application which comprised the acquisition and processing of the sampled signals. Three algorithms were proposed to calculate the pulse wave velocity. The algorithm with less dispersion results was chosen.
